Are the Hands on on-line Poker Really Random?

This week’s question is a good one. Let’s have a look:

Question: Are the Hands on on Line Poker Really Random?
Answer: Yes they are random. Keep in mind that even in a real casino shuffled cards may not be perfectly randomized. This is not to say that there is a detectable pattern, but a human dealer may not necessarily achieve perfect randomization.

The random systems employed by online casinos are verified by various agencies and many of these places have gaming licenses.

Unfortunately the American government has decided to partially outlaw online gambling so we have to put up with companies that are based in foreign counties with foreign agencies overseeing them. It would make far more sense to legalize online gaming and allow these companies to set up here in the States where they could be monitored, taxed and regulated. But alas the current administration learned nothing from prohibition.

At the end of the day if online casinos were being less than honest disgruntled former employees would blow the whistle on them and they would lose their reputation. I believe if you play at a major site your money is as safe as it would be in any Vegas casino. After all the casino doesn’t care if you win or lose, they get paid regardless.
